Former France and Manchester United midfielder Paul Poga visited Guinea's camp ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Guinea is the homeland of Pogba's parents, and he popped up for a quick chat with the team, which is preparing for the tournament set to kick off next month.
The Guinean Football Federation posted a video on X of Pogba having a chat with former Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita in what looked like a hotel.
Guinea are looking to continue with their consistent performances in the tournament. They are in a tough Group C alongside reigning champions Senegal, giants Cameroon and Gambia, per CAF.
Pogba received a hero's welcome in Conakry when he travelled to the West African country last year. Thousands of fans welcomed him in the city. He was wearing traditional regalia and was guarded by the military.
Thousands lined up in the streets to see him as his convoy passed through. Pogba chose to play with France, a country he helped win the 2018 World Cup.
