The Manchester City striker enjoyed a stellar year leading the line for the Cityzens, helping them to the treble.
While he didn’t finish as the leading scorer in the world for club and country during 2023, he did notch up another impressive achievement.

Haaland finished 2023 as the year’s leading scorer in all competitions in Europe’s top five leagues.
The top five leagues are the Italian Serie A, the Bundesliga, the English Premier League, the French Ligue 1 and the Spanish La Liga.
With Haaland taking top spot, Sports Brief looks at the rest of the top five scorers in 2023.
Erling Haaland – 44
The Norwegian striker is always out to prove how lethal he can be.
Haaland leads the way with 44 goals in all competitions and has already scored 19 of those since the new season started in August 2023.
The former Borussia Dortmund star still finished at the top of the list despite being unable to add to his tally since December 6.
The attacker picked up a foot injury on that date, and has yet to feature for the team, Goal reported.
Harry Kane – 43
The former Tottenham Hotspur attacker is making the most of his time in Germany.

2024 could prove to be a big year for the French captain, as he could either leave the Ligue 1 champions or sign a new deal at the club.
