As noted by Goal, a new proposed FIFA rule stipulates that transfers and contracts can only discussed by licensed agents. Lamari is not a licensed agent and can’t represent anyone officially.
FIFA have since suspended the rule, and Lamari has since been reinstated as her son’s agent.
With Mbappe entering the final six months of his contract, he is officially allowed to negotiate with other teams.
