Kaizer Chiefs' interim manager, Cavin Johnson, has stated that he is already making plans for the second half of the football season.
The tactician was asked about his future with AmaKhosi, and he stated that he would only continue to work for the progress of the club.
Following the sacking of Molefi Ntseki, Johnson was appointed to take charge of the team on an interim basis.
The club have continued their search for a permanent manager, with Pitso Mosimane also heavily linked.
Johnson would have a chance to hit the reset button at the club during the break for the forthcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
And the manager believes his technical crew will continue to be in charge as preparations are underway for the second half of the season.
He said via iDiski Times:
“I think this mini-break will probably be the hardest that I’m going to work now, because you can’t end 2023 on a high like this and start 2024 in a different mode.
“If I’m in the lead of this particular team, then it’s going to be the hardest that I’ve… I can see it’s going to be the hardest work I’ve ever put in.
“It will be for sure a different Kaizer Chiefs that comes out and plays next year.”
Chiefs have won four of the seven games under Johnson and end the year in sixth place on the DStv Premiership log.
