A Scottish goalkeeper has gone viral for scoring a 30-yard screamer after he was compelled to play as a striker during a Scottish Championship match.
Alasdair Adams was forced to settle for a place on the bench when Arbroath took on Raith Rovers on Saturday, December 30.
BBC reports that the tie ended in a 2-2 dramatic draw, with Adams' Arbroath staging a dramatic comeback to secure a point.
Dylan Easton opened the scoring for Raith Rovers in the 34th minute before Jack Hamilton doubled the advantage in the 61st minute.

FootballHowever, two dramatic late goals from Arbroath ensured the match ended all square, with the spoils shared.
Adams was at the centre of Arbroath's comeback, with the shotstopper coming off the bench to score a beauty as an outfield player.
Sportbible reports that manager Jim Mclntyre brought on Adams after defender Aaron Steele picked up a knock.
While the decision was quite bizarre considering that Adams plays as a goalkeeper, it actually paid off in the long run, with the 32-year-old at the centre of it.
A video capturing the moment Adams found the back of the net with a screamer showed him smashing the ball towards the goal from about 30 yards out to find the back of the net.
Leighton Mclntosh went on to bag the equaliser from the penalty spot with nine minutes left on the clock.

FootballSports Brief earlier reported that Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola once voiced his admiration for Cameroon and Manchester United goalkeeper, Andre Onana, appreciating how good he is.
The Cameroon international has been in the news for the wrong reasons recently, as he continues to struggle between the sticks for Manchester United.
Onana finished that season as one of the best goalkeepers in the Champions League, alongside the likes of Ederson and Real Madrid's Thibaut Courtois.
