Former Manchester United ace Anthony Elanga has left Red Devils fans fuming with his gesture during their Premier League meeting with Nottingham Forest.
Elanga graduated from the Man United academy before he broke into the senior team on 11 May 2021 when he came on as a substitute against Leicester City in the Premier League.
However, the youngster was shipped out in the summer to Nottingham Forest when he completed a £15m switch, per Sky Sports.
The forward has gone on to form an important part of the club this season and was pivotal during their 2-1 win over Erik ten Hag's charges.
Elanga assisted one of the two goals scored by the hosts as United were condemned to a comprehensive defeat away from home.
Elanga's gesture angers Man United fans
However, the Swedish ace left a section of Man United fans fuming due to his gesture after he was subbed off.
Sportbible reports that the 21-year-old was spotted smiling before he pointed to his club's badge while on the sideline.
The antic left the United faithful in anger, with @Mattskii45 posting:
"Touch the badge after United made you who you are. No loyalty."
