Juventus fans have animosity against Jose Mourinho, and they did not hide it as he walked out with his players during the traditional pre-game warm-up.

Roma travelled to Turin to play Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in their final game of the year after a well-deserved 2-0 win over champion Napoli in the Derby del Sole.

Former Juventini Paulo Dybala was selected to start against his former club despite missing the last weeks due to injury, and he partners Romelu Lukaku up top.

Juventus fans boo Mourinho

Mourinho is one of the most hated figures in football and has found a way to get himself into the bad books of the majority of the rivals of the clubs he has managed.

Per a video shared on X by Lega Serie A, he joined his players as they walked out for their traditional pre-game warm-up, and he was booed by the home fans, along with Dybala.

The travelling Roma fans tried their best to make themselves heard and show support for their manager ahead of the crunch tie, as they hope to end 2023 on a high note.

Speaking before the game via Roma Press, Mourinho highlighted where the game would be challenging for his team, considering their issues in attack and defensive frailties. He also praised Massimiliano Allegri for being a result-oriented manager.

Roma finances could see five players out

Previously, Sports Brief also reported that Roma could offload five players at the end of the season, with the Special One's future at the Italian club also uncertain.

With the club under financial pressure, the decision has been made to part ways with players who are excelling on the pitch and a number of loanees set for exits.
