West Ham United fans can't get enough of Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus following his blistering performances since joining the club from Ajax in the summer transfer window.
Kudus starred as the Hammers defeated Arsenal 2-0 to move into the top six in the English Premier League on Thursday night.
The former Ajax star has already netted ten goals in 23 appearances for the club, making him one of the leading scorers on the London side this season.
During the game against Arsenal, fans of the club were spotted chanting his name as he won a goal kick at the far side.
In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the fans instantly composed a new song, singing 'our superstar from Ghana'.
Unfortunately for the Hammers, the 23-year-old was making his last appearance for the club before he leaves for the Africa Cup of Nations next month.
Manager David Moyes has asked other players to step up because the Ghana international will be missed.
"Unfortunately, we’re probably going to lose Mo [Kudus] to the Africa Cup of Nations, so we’re going to need other players to step up. This is where we need to see players coming in, stepping up and keeping us going in that direction, because we’re going to need them badly," said Moyes in the post-match presser.
Kudus will join the Black Stars this weekend as preparations begin for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Kumasi.
