Man City rising star Hamilton elated by debut goal

Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho has been labelled the "worst signing in football history" by former footballer-turned pundit Dean Saunders.
Sancho, who made the move from Borussia Dortmund to Man United in 2021, seems more and more inclined to depart Old Trafford in either the upcoming January window or the following summer's transfer period.
His presence on the field has been scant, making just three appearances across competitions and accumulating a mere 76 minutes of play, according to Transfermarkt.
Reports suggest a fallout between the 23-year-old and manager Erik ten Hag after Sancho was dropped due to purported underperformance in training.

FootballThis disagreement escalated when Sancho publicly rebutted Ten Hag's decision, refuting claims of poor performance and alleging he was unfairly made a 'scapegoat.'
Despite this, there's been no reconciliation between the player and coach, leaving their relationship strained and seemingly untenable.
Reflecting on Sancho's tenure at Man United, former Premier League striker Dean Saunders has criticised the ex-Dortmund star, branding him the "worst signing in football history."
"He signs for Man United for (£74 million), reportedly on £300k a week, he's played eighty-odd games and scored about seven or eight goals, hardly any assists. Not produced the goods, it's a mystery."
He added, as cited by Sportskeeda:
"(For) Man United it's got to be the worst deal in the history of football. You add his wages up. Right now he's sat in his house playing on his PlayStation. He doesn't even want to apologize and even if you don't mean it, get back on that football pitch and start playing football."
