It’s not every day that you get to meet your footballing idols, let alone test out their iconic celebrations.

Two lucky Paris Saint-Germain fans got to do just that, even though they didn’t realise it at first.

The two youngsters met PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe recently but didn’t realise they were talking to the French captain.

Mbappe, who wore a disguise, was posing as a cameraman while the two boys were interviewed about PSG.

During the interview, they were also asked to perform Mbappe’s trademark goal celebration. When they couldn’t quite get it right, the superstar showed them how it was done.

The look on one of the boy’s faces summed up how shocked they were, as he was left with his mouth open after realising that Mbappe was the cameraman.

The footballer then removed his disguise and engaged with the youngsters, ensuring they would have a day they would never forget.

The surprise meeting is just one of a few that PSG have been doing to celebrate the holidays. Some of the club’s biggest stars have been putting on disguises to surprise unsuspecting fans in a series of videos.

When Mbappe returns to action

With French football taking a break for the holiday period, the iconic Mbappe will only run out onto the field again in the New Year.

The youngster is expected to feature in the Trophée des Champions final on January 3, when PSG take on Toulouse.

Mbappe opens up on Messi’s inspiration

Sports Brief previously reported on Mbappe taking a cue from Messi after reaching 300 career goals for club and country with his hat-trick for France against Gibraltar.

In the 14-0 routing of the minnows, he talked about changing how he plays and adapting to new situations, just like Messi did when he transferred to PSG from Barcelona.
