  • The forward has been criticised for posting a picture of his lover on social media on Christmas Day
  • Musa's message on Christmas Day has also not gone down well with some people

Mixed reactions trail Ahmed Musa's post on Christmas Day as the Super Eagles captain took time out to celebrate his beautiful wife, Juliet.

The Sivasspor of Turkey forward shared his Christmas day message, accompanying it with a photo of his lover who was clad in Christmas colours.

Musa wished his followers well and prayed for true joy and peace, but that seems not to have gone down well with some fans.

Some supporters, who are believed to be Muslim faithful, blasted the striker for his 'ideology' about Christmas, as cited in Complete Sports.

One wrote:

May Allah give you the ability to convert your wife to Islam.

Another replied:

"I'm a Christian, and I celebrate Allah, and I also have a Muslim family that celebrates Jesus when we celebrate.
"So those people antagonising Musa, you all need to learn your Quran very well."

One said:

"Senior man it is totally haram to wishes [wish] Christmas or to join celebrate it."

A fan added:

"But you have no knowledge about what you said because you heard Christians call a person 'assistant Jesus' and you associate the word with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
"You should know that God has no helper or assistant."

Musa splashes apartments on journalist, three others

Sports Brief earlier reported that Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa took his philanthropic gestures to a whole new level as he splashes the flats in his newly built mini-estate on four remarkable individuals.

Situated in the Lugbe area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Musa had completed the housing facility, including two units of 3-bedroom flats, one unit of 2-bedroom apartments, and a 1-bedroom flat.

The Sivasspor of Turkey forward disclosed that his loyal gateman Amos received the one-bedroom apartment within the residence, while Nigerian journalist Joan Iwuchuku was handed the keys to the 2-bedroom apartment.
