The seminar, organized by LaLiga in collaboration with EA Sports, spanned two days and featured interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions led by Ayodeji Adegbenro, Country Project Coordinator for LaLiga Ghana and Nigeria.
The primary focus was on identifying and fostering young talent, promoting inclusivity, and imparting essential skills to coaches and educators involved in grassroots football development.
Wrapping up the two-day affair that commenced on Friday, participants enthusiastically joined a live viewing session showcasing the LaLiga showdown between Athletic Club and Atletico Madrid.
Taking advantage of the moment, young players seized the opportunity to dissect and exchange insights on pivotal play sequences, witnessing Bilbao clinch an impressive 2-0 triumph.
Benjamin Adofo distinguished himself as the leading predictor in the predict-and-win contest, precisely predicting the 2-0 scoreline. Adofo was presented with the coveted prize—an autographed Athletic Bilbao jersey.
AS Koppan, Avranches FC, and 2015 FC, three juvenile clubs situated in Accra, were recipients of the professional development program.
