FootballRatcliffe's Stance on Sacking Ten Hag as Man United Manager Emerges After Taking Control of Club
- Erik ten Hag is facing an uncertain future at Manchester United
- United have endured a frustrating run of form in recent weeks
- The Red Devils currently sit eighth in the Premier League standings
Details have emerged on the future of Erik ten Hag as Manchester United boss after Sir Jim Ratcliffe took control of the club's football operations.
The British billionaire acquired a 25 per cent stake in the Premier League club in a deal valued at around £1.3 billion.
According to The Mirror, the INEOS chairman has since pledged to unlock United's true potential following his arrival.
Ratcliffe's arrival comes at a time when the Red Devils have hit a rough patch, with the club currently struggling for form and consistency across competitions.
United were recently dumped out of the Champions League in the group stages and followed up the exit with a run of disastrous results in the domestic league.
Their most recent outing ended in a 2-0 shocking defeat against West Ham United in the Premier League, with the loss sparking calls from a section of fans to have Ten Hag sacked.
Will Ratcliffe sanction Ten Hag's sacking?
However, it has since emerged that Ratcliffe is unlikely to push for the sacking of Ten Hag mid-season despite the worrying streak of form.
GiveMeSports reports that Ratcliffe will only make a decision on the future of the Dutchman at the end of the season.
According to the publication, the British tycoon will review a couple of things before a decision is made, including Ten Hag's transfer business, handling of the Jadon Sancho situation, and squad management.
United, who currently sit eighth in the Premier League standings, will be back in action on Tuesday night when they will host highflying Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
