Popular West Ham United fan, Abel Farel has been raving about the performance of Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen after the duo scored in the victory over Manchester United.

The West Ham attackers needed six minutes to compound Erik ten Hag's misery as United left the London Stadium without a point.

Bowen opened the scoring in the 72nd minute before Kudus completed victory in the 78th minute to mark his sixth goal in the Premier League.

After the game, West Ham's 11-year-old fan, Farel waxed lyrical about the two players, comparing them to Neymar and Messi during their days at Barcelona.

"Messi and Neymar, I'm telling you. They are the next Messi and Neymar. Kudus for the Ballon d'Or 2024," he told West Ham fans TV.

Asked if Kudus will be at the club next season, he responded: "Next summer? I don't know mate. He's too good."

Kudus has now scored nine goals across all competitions for the London club following his move from Ajax in the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, Kudus said after the game, the victory was a Christmas gift for the fans.

"As an attacker, this is what I am here to do, to put the ball in the net. Most importantly we got the three points and I am happy for the fans because this is the last game before Christmas. This is a perfect gift for them and we wish them a happy Christmas. They will enjoy this," he said in the post-match presser.

The 23-year-old will join his Black Stars teammates for the Nations Cup in January.
