Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has broken his silence about his future with Premier Soccer League side Kaizer Chiefs amid rumours linking him away from the club.
The South African midfielder's contract expires in June 2024, and reports have linked him with different clubs.
The AmaKhosi are doing everything possible to keep the 24-year-old despite attracting suitors from overseas.
Ngcobo, in a recent interview according to a report by Soccer Laduma as per GOAL, claimed he committed to staying with the Glamour Boys despite having just six months left on his contract.
"Obviously, I have a contract with Kaizer Chiefs. I belong to this (team), and my blood is black and gold," he said.
"It is good to see yourself playing for a club like this. I think every player is waiting for their opportunity to play.
"We are more of a team rather than saying these ones are from development or what.
"We are all happy that we are working together. And as youngsters, we are happy that we are getting the chance to have game time and help the team where we can."
Ngcobo is still vying to play consistently under the interim manager Cavin Johnson and would be up for selection when the Glamour Boys face Richards Bay in the Premier Soccer League this weekend.
Johnson has been doing an incredible job with the AmaKhosi since replacing Molefi Ntseki on an interim basis. He could convince Ngcobo to sign a new contract with the club before June.
