Former Mamelodi Sundowns Pitso Mosimane has disclosed the secret ingredient to his success amid links to Kaizer Chief and the Nigerian men's national team.
The South African manager is still without a managerial role after departing United Arab Emirates Pro League outfits Al Wahda in mid-November.
The former Al Ahly is currently being linked with the vacant coaching role at Kaizer Chiefs and has been tipped as a possible replacement for Jose Peseiro, who is now struggling with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Mosimane, in a recent interview with GOAL, unveils the secret to his success in different clubs he has managed.
"I believe in a way of doing things which is preparation; it leads everything," he said.
"Don't undermine preparation, but you have to be consistent on it every day, every time.
"The principles of the discipline around that will always help you to achieve what you want to do, and you have to have a firm idea.
"The preparation I am talking about is different from others. Sometimes, people say we go back to the drawing board from people decorated with lovely, beautiful words; I don't have those beautiful words.
"So it's a principle, discipline, and all leadership within the team and leadership management.
"And to have assembled leaders, you have to assemble players who buy into the vision, want to deliver, and look after the dressing room."
