Lionel Messi will have his best football partner at Inter Miami next season after news broke that the club have reached an agreement to bring Luis Suarez to the US league.

The Uruguayan forward will be the fourth former Barcelona player to join the Herons after Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba joined the club weeks after Messi's July move.

Iniesta and Messi played a massive 489 games together at Camp Nou. Per Mirror UK, the midfielder handed the captain’s armband to him in his final game in 2018 and whispered, 'Here, Leo, I love you so much'. He created 37 goals for La Pulga.

4. Xavi Hernandez

The current Barcelona coach spent the most time on the pitch with the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner. Per Planet Football, they played 27,775 minutes together on the pitch. Xavi provided 31 assists, including for Messi’s iconic goal in the 2009 UEFA Champions League final against Manchester United.
