He has notched in five goals in 19 matches he has played for the AmaKhosi since he joined.
Castillo, who has been recalled to the Venezuelan national team, admitted it had not been easy to settle in. He said via GOAL:
"My first few months at the club were not easy for me, but I am getting there day by day. I am really enjoying myself here, and I am also enjoying the football as well.
"I chose to join Kaizer Chiefs because they are one of the biggest teams in Africa. Playing here has also helped me to get back into the national team," he continued.
It had been more than two years since Castillo played for his country, but his performance for the Chiefs has attracted the attention of the Venezuelan technical crew.
The Kaizer Chiefs star has six appearances for his South American country and has scored one goal for La Vinotinto.
