Patrice Evra has discussed the essence of authenticity in content creation, stressing the significance of being oneself, during an interview with CNN correspondent, Larry Madowo at the international Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal.

The annual technology conference, which seeks to redefine the global tech industry, provided a unique platform for the Kenyan journalist to engage one-on-one with ex-Manchester United defender as well as social media personality and songwriter, Loren Gray.

A visibly star-struck Madowo shared a snippet of the interview afterwards, expressing his delight at sharing the stage with the former France national team captain in particular.

In a post on Instagram, the Kenyan journalist spoke about his experience at the world's biggest tech event:

"Portugal was a movie! I now demand entrance music like this for all events I do. Such an honor to be on the Web Summit main stage with superstars Patrice Evra and Loren to talk about how to create great content. We had a stadium for an audience and they didn't disappoint."

During the interview, Madowo queried Evra on the secret behind creating relatable content. The ex-Juventus man responded, stressing the significance of being oneself, having passion, and being disciplined.

Notably, the former French captain acknowledged that he had become more famous in his post-football career, attributing his newfound popularity to the connection he has established with many people.

"I created a positive monster but the thing is, people knew me as a player but now I put myself out there as an individual. I’m not [Lionel] Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, or Neymar [Junior], but I’m getting really famous because people feel connected to me now," Evra stated as quoted by Pulse Sports.

The former Juventus full-back, known for his mantra of 'I Love This Game,' showcased his passion for sports, offering entertaining behind-the-scenes insights about iconic figures in football.

Gray - who was the most-followed creator on TikTok for a period of a year - also shared her insights on content creation as the fourth-highest earning star on the platform.
