  • Cristiano Ronaldo has failed to make the top 20 list of most valuable players in the Saudi Pro League
  • The Portuguese veteran joined the Saudi club at the start of 2023 after he departed Manchester United
  • Neymar Jr, who linked up with Ronaldo in the Saudi league in the summer, is the most valuable player

Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has missed out on a list of the top 20 most valuable players in the Saudi Pro League.

The division has earned traction in recent months, with a number of top players sealing moves to the Arabian league.

Ronaldo became the highest-profile footballer to join the league last year following his acrimonious Old Trafford exit.

According to Goal, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner penned a $75million per year deal at the club, with the lucrative contract making him one of the best-paid athletes in the world.

A number of top players have since followed in Ronaldo's footsteps by sealing moves to the Middle East division.

Neymar Jr, Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Jordan Henderson, and Sadio Mane are among the players who have moved to Saudi in recent months.

Given the array of talent and experience in the division, TransferMarkt has listed the most valuable players playing in the Saudi Pro League.
