South African manager Pitso Mosimane has disclosed the issues related to coaching in Europe amid recent links with Kaizer Chiefs and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns manager has been without a coaching job since leaving UAE Pro League side Al Wahda in mid-November but has been linked with different teams, both club and country.
The former Al-Ahly manager recently confirmed offers from other continents, including Europe, but he was not ready to take up a new challenge.
Mosimane, in a recent interview with Sunday World News as per Soccer Laduma, explained the challenges he might face coaching in Europe despite offers from the region and referred to Josef Zinnbauer in his analogy.
"Let us take an example, coach Josef Zinnbauer (current head coach of Raja CA), who was here at Orlando Pirates; if he puts his CV, I put my CV, he will get employed in Europe, not me. It doesn't matter what he has won or did not win; he will get the job," he added.
The South African tactician thinks that racism is still in existence in European football.
"The World is a little bit different now; no one will say 'black guy' or whatever, nobody will say that, but do they have to say it before someone experiences the difficulties? They say actions speak louder than words," he added.
The former SuperSport United boss might end up staying in Africa as there are links with a return to Premier Soccer League and the Egyptian Premier League. The South African is also being linked with the Nigeria national team.
