Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has warned the Elephants of Ivory Coast about Victor Osimhen's Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Elephants are the host country but found themselves in the same group alongside three-time African champions, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
Ivory Coast and Jose Peseiro's side are tipped as favourites to book the top two places in the group, but they will have to be wary of the threats from the other two teams.
Former Galatasaray striker Drogba, during an interview with BBC as per Soccernet, sent a strong warning to his compatriots, advising them to take every game in the group seriously especially the game against the Super Eagles.
The Elephants legend also referred to the reigning CAF Player of the Year, Osimhen leading the Nigeria team and other players in the squad, claiming they will try to win the cup in his homeland.

The tournament will start with Ivory Coast taking on Guinea-Bissau on Saturday, January 13.
