Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo has shared his thoughts on the AmaKhosi appointing Pitso Mosimane as their permanent head coach since the departure of Molefi Ntseki.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach has been the leading candidate for the vacant managerial seat at the Glamour Boys, but the club is yet to make an official approach.
The PSL side is currently being managed by Mosimane's former assistant Cavin Johnson on an interim basis.
Khumalo, in a recent chat with Robert Marawa on 94.7 FM, reacted to the possibility of Mosimane being the AmaKhosi's next manager.
"I will always be a Kaizer Chiefs fan and a legend of the club, unfortunately, there's no room for us to echo advice at the club, and I cannot force that to happen, so I will rather watch from a distance," he said.
"If Pitso [Mosimane] has to do that, he is a great coach and has proven himself, I would like to believe he can be the best coach at Kaizer Chiefs, but I have my reservations in terms of that because of certain things that are happening within the club which are not suppose to, especially [in terms of] players acquisition."
Mosimane recently talked out the possibility of taking up Chiefs' vacant coaching role and disclosed the sole challenge that could stop that according to a report by Soccer Laduma.
