FootballLeicester City Players Hit 'Iconic' Kudus Goal Celebration in Championship Game
- Mohammed Kudus' goal celebration is taking over the football scene
- The Ghanaian's celebration has been replicated in the Championship
- Kudus has gained popularity since joining West Ham in the summer
Mohammed Kudus has joined the list of footballers who have created 'iconic' goal celebrations after Leicester City players mimicked his style during a Championship game.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Stephy Mavididi replicated the 'take a seat' celebration after the latter had scored for the Foxes in their 3-2 victory against Birmingham on Monday night.
According to Ghana Web, the goal celebration involves players going to the advertising hoardings to take a seat and this is quickly becoming Kudus' hallmark goal celebration in the Premier League.
Due to its originality, the 'take a seat' celebration has resonated with fans and fellow footballers, leading other players like Issahaku and Mavididi to embrace it, bringing a sense of togetherness among players in the football community.
Kudus has made a significant impact since joining West Ham United this summer, scoring nine goals in 15 appearances for the Hammers to become one of David Moyes's key players at the London club.
Moyes rues Mohammed Kudus absence
Meanwhile, West Ham manager, Moyes has admitted the absence of Kudus will be 'a huge blow' to the ambitions of the London club when he departs for the Africa Cup of Nations, Bein Sport reports.
The 23-year-old forward, who is set to lead the Black Stars' attack at the 2023 edition in Ivory Coast, could miss up to nine matches if the Hammers continue to progress in both domestic cup competitions.
Kudus has become an integral member of the West Ham team this season and his absence would be massively felt by the London club, who are pushing to seal their place in European action this campaign.

FootballSports Brief also previously reported that Kudus has hailed Jay Jay Okocha, naming the ex-Super Eagles captain as his all-time favourite legend of the game.
The Nigerian icon, often regarded as one of the most skilful footballers of his generation, had a stellar career playing for his country between 1993 and 2006.
With the tricky Okocha in the mix, the Super Eagles claimed the Africa Cup of Nations title in 1994 and also claimed gold at the Olympics in 1996 in the USA.
