Mosimane, in a recent interview posted on YouTube by Sunday World News, disclosed the challenge he has in taking up the Kaizer Chiefs job.

According to the veteran, it would all depend on the AmaKhosi being open to doing business with him, according to a report by Soccer Laduma.

"The issue is what are their short and long-term plans. It is like in business, it works like that. But we are also businesspeople, and also this is a career, make no mistake. Ask Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp - this is not charity, this is not which club you supported when you were young."

The former SuperSport United coach also listed what he is looking at when it comes to taking a new job as rumours continue to circulate about his next destination.

"There must be a proper plan and a proper vision, to say 'do you want this?' I can coach any team, in the country, in Africa, in the gulf, the US, Europe, but it has to be proper," he added.

Mosimane also claimed he is open to taking up a national team job if there is a possibility, having already expressed his keen interest in the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Mosimane speaks on Chiefs’ trophy drought

Sports Brief also previously reported on Mosimane discussing Kaizer Chiefs' trophy drought and the possibility of taking over their vacant coaching post.

The struggling AmaKhosi are presently being managed by Cavin Johnson on an interim basis and are still in search of a permanent replacement for Molefi Ntseki.

Kaizer Chiefs remain without a trophy over the past eight seasons, with their last title coming in the 2014/15 Premier Soccer League campaign that they won.
