Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has generated a lot of talk on social media with his latest goal celebration.

The 23-year-old has been in devastating form for West Ham since joining the club in the summer transfer window from Ajax Amsterdam.

Kudus has netted nine goals across all competitions for the London outfit, and his celebration after each strike is becoming popular in England. The Ghana international runs and sits on the advertising board to celebrate a goal.

Asked about the meaning behind the gesture, Kudus responded on West Ham TV: "Obviously when you get to a certain level and you do something people read deeper meanings into it. This does not mean anything. I am just taking a deep breath."

Kudus first displayed the iconic celebration when he scored his maiden Premier League goal against Newcastle United at the London Olympic Stadium.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate has since not looked back as he continued his impressive start to life in England with a brace against Wolverhampton Wanderers over the weekend.

His outstanding display saw him make the Team of the Week for the first time, as announced by the Premier League.
