Tottenham Hotspur continued their resurgence with another victory at The City Ground against Nottingham Forest.

After a mid-season dip in form following their stellar start to the 2023-24 campaign, Ange Postecoglou's squad aimed to build on their statement win against Newcastle United.

Wasting no time against Steve Cooper's side, Spurs signalled their intent as striker Richarlison Andrade converted a well-executed cross from Dejan Kulesevski just before the first half concluded.

Bissouma sets unwanted record

According to reports from Sqauwka Data, the 27-year-old became the first player to be sent off twice since the start of the 2023-24 Premier League season.

Bissouma had previously received a red card in Tottenhm’s clash away at Luton Town.

The midfielder is set to be unavailable for the busy festive schedule, which would see his side host highflying Everton before making a trip to Brighton and Bournemouth.

Nevertheless, the North London club is anticipated to thrive in his absence, given the depth of midfield talent at their disposal.

Bissouma leaves defender crawling
