Former Mamelodi Sundowns manager, Pitso Mosimane has responded to reports linking him with the vacant coaching role at Premier League Soccer side, Kaizer Chiefs.
The South African tactician has been linked with several African clubs since leaving UAE Pro League side, Al Wahda, with the Glamour Boys being top of the list.
The AmaKhosi are presently being managed by Mosimane's former assistant, Cavin Johnson, on an interim basis after the sacking of Molefi Ntseki a few months ago.
In a recent interview with T-Bose on Kaya FM, the 59-year-old tactician was asked if he was considering the vacant permanent coaching role at Kaizer Chiefs, according to a report by iDiskiTimes.
"I go anywhere; I am a professional, as long as you show me the vision, and we are aligned. Any team, I will go work for it because I want to have the energy. I do not want to wake up and then I am doing it for the sake of doing it. I need to say 'why do I want to do this?'"
The former Al Ahly coach confirmed he is a fan of the PSL side and would not mind coaching another team in the South African top tier despite previously working for Sundowns.
"I used to watch Kaizer Chiefs train in Phefeni in front of Kaizer Motaung’s house. I watched it with my own eyes. Training, not on the turf. Dust! I saw them there," Mosimane added.
