Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has disclosed the surprise career he would pick if he were not involved in football.
The Spaniard is widely considered one of the greatest managers of his generation, thanks to his impressive CV.
Guardiola started as a player, turning out for the likes of Barcelona, AS Roma, and Al-Ahli during his playing career.
He later transitioned into football management, initially taking charge of the Barcelona youth team before he was promoted to the senior team in 2008.
Pep's most successful managerial reign came at Man City, where he has won multiple titles, including a historic treble during the 2022/23 season.
According to Sportbible, the 52-year-old is hunting for his fourth consecutive Premier League title after winning the crown for three consecutive seasons.
Guardiola would be university professor
The former Barcelona boss has now disclosed that he would be a university professor if he did not make something out of football.
Speaking to the Premier League YouTube channel, the City boss claimed he would be a don lecturing history.
"I would be a Professor at a University about history. t would be my dream if I had not been a manager. "Since Palaeolithic, Egyptian, Roman Empire, until now. So I will study everything. I love it," he added.
Meanwhile, Pep will be keen to inspire City back to winning ways in the Premier League when they play Crystal Place on Saturday.
