Cristiano Ronald is not a one-trick pony. The Portuguese superstar may be a talented footballer, but that isn’t all he is known for.

As one of the wealthiest athletes in the world, the footballer doesn’t only rely on his talent on the pitch to get him by; he also has some profitable investments and booming businesses.

Ronaldo has now thrown his weight behind a new venture that aims to shake up the gaming world.

The AL-Nassr star is not only an ambassador but is now also an investor for UFL.

What is UFL?

As noted by Essentially Sports, UFL is a new free-to-play football game that is soon to be released. It is described as a game that focuses on skills to win games instead of spending money to get ahead.

The game is considered a challenger to EA Sports' FC 24, which dominated the football gaming landscape for many years under the FIFA banner.

The competitor game also has secured licensing agreements with top clubs worldwide, allowing players to have an authentic gameplay experience.

Ronaldo’s other investments

The footballer has been used to endorse products and is known for investing in products.

As reported by Finances Online, he previously invested in boutique hotels and also ventured into the fitness sector when he invested in US health company Crunch.

While some of his decisions have worked out for him in the past, not all have gone to plan.

Ronaldo at the centre of lawsuit

Ronaldo recently found himself in trouble over his promotion of a cryptocurrency exchange, Sports Brief previously reported.

The Portuguese superstar, who has been the face of many different advertising campaigns, is reportedly in legal hot water.

Ronaldo has recently been heavily promoting Binance, but his association with the company has landed him in trouble.
