- The Rockets will face Stellenbosch in the Carling Knockout Cup final on Saturday
TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi has reacted to claims that his team might lose their manager, Sead Ramovic, to Premier Soccer League (PSL) rivals after the Carling Knockout Cup final on Saturday.
The Rockets are set to face Stellenbosch in the final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium this coming Saturday.
TS Galaxy had a good run to the finals as they defeated DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the second round before going further to defeat Polokwane City, and AmaZulu FC in the quarter-final and the semi-final respectively.
Reports are linking the German-born manager away from the Rockets, and Sukazi claimed they are not scared of losing him to a rival after the final, according to a report by iDiskiTimes.
"No, we have no fear that we might lose our coach. With or without him winning the final, there is no fear at all," he said.
"If you go back to the recordings when I brought Sead in the country when no one knew him when journalists were asking me, 'I brought a plumber, he never was a head coach anywhere'."
The Bosnian manager's contract will expire in June 2024, and he is yet to agree on a new deal with the Rockets.
TS Galaxy last won a title in 2019, which is the Nedbank Cup, but they could break that trophy drought this weekend against Stellenbosch in the Carling Knockout Cup final.

FootballSports Brief earlier reported on Ramovic giving his frank assessment of Rulani Mokwena's comments in the aftermath of their Carling Knockout Cup penalty shootout.
Ramovic was asked about the comments in the build-up to TS Galaxy's Carling Knockout Cup semi-final when he labelled the 'Downs coach as 'disrespectful'.
The Bosnian boss made note of Sundowns' expensive signings who played against TS Galaxy and stated he was upset at not being given credit for the result.
