FootballMan United vs Bayern Munich: Tuchel Fires Warning to Red Devils Ahead of Must Win UCL Cracker
- Man United will host Bayern Munich for their final Group A game of the UCL on Tuesday night
- The Red Devils need a positive result from the tie to stand a chance of making it to the last 16
- Bayern, who currently top the group, have already booked a spot in the next round of the UCL
Bayern Munich boss, Thomas Tuchel has fired a warning to Manchester United ahead of their UEFA Champions League meeting on Tuesday night.
The tie will be the final round of Group A fixtures ahead of the tournament's knockout stages.
United will be heading into the clash in search of nothing short of a victory as they seek a miracle to book a place in the next round of the tournament.
The Red Devils have endured a frustrating run of form in the competition, winning only one of the last five games they have played.
Their woeful run of results has them sitting bottom of the pool with four points ahead of their meeting with Bayern.
According to Goal, a loss or a draw against the Bundesliga giants will see United eliminated from the European elite competition.
Tuchel's warning to Man United
While Bayern have already booked their spot in the next round, Tuchel has warned United that his side will still aim for maximum points when they square off at Old Trafford.
Speaking ahead of the cracker, the former Chelsea boss said they will be keen to wind up the group stages campaign on a high despite the challenge the Red Devils pose.
"We have high expectations, even if we are always under pressure. United will give everything to get through. But we expect a top performance from us," he said via The Mirror.
"I hope we can match United's enthusiasm and energy, which I'm sure they'll bring to the game."
