Victor Osimhen has arrived at the 2023 CAF Awards with his beautiful girlfriend as the clock ticks to his coronation as Player of the Year.
The Napoli and Super Eagles star is the favourite to win the award after an outstanding season in the Italian Serie A and with the Nigeria national team.
Osimhen will face competition from Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Achraf Hakimi of Morocco for the top award.
In a video shared on social media, the lanky forward walked gorgeously with his wife as they entered the auditorium in Marrakech.
The Super Eagles forward won the Golden Boot Award, becoming the first African to achieve the feat. His goals led Napoli to the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years.
Other awards for the night include the Goalkeeper of the Year, which is between Moroccan shot-stopper Yassine Bounou and Manchester United star Andre Onana.
Percy Tau of South Africa is favourite to win the Inter-club Player of the Year while Morocco leads the race for the Team of the Year.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the final three-man shortlist for the Africa Player of the Year has been announced with Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen, set to compete with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Achraf Hakimi for the top award.
With barely a week to go before the awards ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco, Osimhen has emerged as the favourite to win the gong.

Sports Brief also reported that CAF have put forward their final three in the Player of the Year category.
The continental body cut seven names from their shortlist, adding some spice before Monday night's glamourous awards ceremony.
Among those to miss out are Al-Nassr's Sadio Mane, Manchester United's Sofyan Amrabat, and Sevilla's Yousef En Nesyri.
