There were questions about whether the Portuguese superstar was making the right move when he decided to move to the Saudi Pro League, but CR7 appears to be proving all his doubters wrong.
A Saudi lawyer recently sat down with the superstar, sharing what the former Real Madrid star had to say about his time in the country.
Ronaldo expressed how happy he was to be in the country and how he was enjoying the experience of traditional Saudi food and visiting numerous places.
He also spoke about how, while people were eager to be around him, they didn’t harass him like in other countries. The former Juventus man claimed some fans crossed the line in other countries when they wanted photos with him.
When did Ronaldo move to the Kingdom?
Ronaldo moved to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in December 2022 when he signed for Al Nassr.
As noted by The Guardian, he was without a club since leaving Manchester United, before agreeing on a deal until 2025 with the Saudi Arabian side.
Ronaldo is embracing the culture
The club captain has made the most of his move to the country and has embraced the culture.
Together with his Al-Nassr teammates, they donned traditional attire for a video to celebrate Saudi National Day.
