West Ham United manager David Moyes has expressed disappointment over the impending absence of Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus and his African teammates for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Hammers will lose Kudus to Ghana, Nayef Aguerd to Morocco and Said Benrahma to Algeria in January and February next year.
The trio have been key to Moyes' team, playing a role in the comeback win over Tottenham Hotspurs last night in the English Premier League.
Kudus had an involvement in the build-up to Jarrod Bowen's equalizer for West Ham. Cristian Romero had given Spurs the lead after 11 minutes before James Ward-Prowse scored the winner in the final 15 minutes.
