Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Stuttgart forward Serhou Guirassy also made the list for the top scorers in Europe so far this season, as they both top the scorers chart in England and Germany.

Haaland lead the way in UCL

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland leads the way in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League top scorers race as the Manchester City forward has scored a total of five goals in five matches in the group stage, UEFA reports.

The Norwegian forward became the fastest and youngest player to reach 40 goals in the competition, overthrowing the record previously held by Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.

Rasmus Hojlund and Álvaro Morata are the other two forwards who have hit five goals in the competition this season, while Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Julian Alvarez and Gabriel Jesus have all scored four goals.

PSG plan to keep Mbappe

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Kylian Mbappe's transfer saga has quieted down, but his name always hits the back pages in France and Spain.

The French star has been linked with Real Madrid for years but is still playing for Paris Saint-Germain.

The club has reportedly come up with two ideas which they believe will persuade him to stay.
