The blogosphere (Nigeria twitter) has been buzzing following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho by the board of English Premier League champions, Chelsea football club.

His sack comes just seven months after leading the London team to a Barclays Premier League title last season.
The 52-year-old Portuguese had been in his second spell at the club, taking charge in June 2013 but was given the marching orders, after a slow start to the season which has left the team lying in the 16 position on the log after 16 games.

As usual, the shocking dismissal of the “Special one” has got the social media buzzing and Nigeria Twitter isn’t left out.

Although Chelsea FC said the club and Jose Mourinho parted company by mutual consent, BBC reports he was sacked.
The club has also stated there are no plans to make any further comment until a new appointment is made.
But reports in some quarters indicate that former Real Madrid coach, Juande Ramos and former Russia coach, Guus Hiddink, are surprise candidates being considered as a potential caretaker manager by after the board decided to sack José Mourinho before the end of the season.
