According to Sky Sports, the midfielder joined the Blues in the summer of 2020 from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.

Havertz's move to the Premier League came after scoring 36 goals and bagging 25 assists in just 118 Bundesliga appearances.

However, after enduring his fair share of struggles with Chelsea, the German swapped the west London club for rivals Arsenal.

Havertz names the best striker he has played with

The ex-Leverkusen ace has played alongside some of the best strikers at Chelsea and the Germany national team, including the likes of Thomas Muller, Timo Werner, and Olivier Giroud.

However, when asked about the best forward he has shared a dressing room with, Havertz snubbed all of those and named Gabriel Jesus as the best forward he has played with.

‘I have to say really I think the best. I knew this before as well, but now I see it in every training session,’ he told SportDaily, per Metro UK.
"It’s an honour to play with players like this (Jesus), he’s one of those players who can turn a game around by himself and I think he’s the best," he added.

Arteta pushes Havertz towards fans

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Mikel Arteta has warmed hearts for his class gesture towards Kai Havertz after he scored the winning goal for Arsenal against Brentford.

Havertz started the Saturday match from the bench before he was introduced in the second half, with the scores still 0-0.

The former Chelsea star emerged the match hero by scoring a last-gasp winner to send the Gunners to the summit of the Premier League standings.
