A supercomputer has projected the potential final standings of the La Liga table after Girona's exceptional performance in the current 2023-2024 season.
Surprise package Girona seek a return to victory this Saturday afternoon as they carry on their La Liga campaign at home against Valencia.
The hosts lost their leading position to Real Madrid last weekend and couldn't reclaim the top spot, settling for a 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao on Monday.
According to Sportsmole, the Catalan outfit continue to have an impressive campaign so far, securing 11 wins, two draws, and one loss in their 14 league matches, accumulating a total of 35 points.
Despite their strong performance, they currently sit in second place in the table due to their head-to-head record with Real Madrid, having suffered a 3-0 defeat to Los Blancos at the end of September.
