- A summer signing's return to training has stirred excitement among Madrid fans
Real Madrid have faced an unrelenting barrage of injuries since the beginning of the season, which has cast a shadow over what was otherwise a flawless start to the Spanish giants' campaign.
The La Liga club have had to make do with many players on the sidelines, including season-ending anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries to both veterans, Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao.
Adding to the concern was the setback suffered by summer signing, Arda Guler. The 18-year-old Turkish prodigy, who had attracted widespread attention with his exceptional skills, joined Real Madrid after having many European clubs battling for his immense skill, as reported by Euro Sport.
Despite the anticipation, the young midfielder has been plagued by a persistent series of injuries, preventing him from making his debut for the club. Most recently, he experienced a relapse in October, shortly after recovering from a meniscus injury.
However, there is a glimmer of hope as reports from Madrid Universal indicate that Guler has returned to training on the pitch.
The news of his return has been greeted with much excitement from fans given his enormous talent, which has been largely likened to be in the manner of Argentine superstar, Lionel Messi.
