- Al Nassr are set to travel to league leaders Al Hilal in a top of the table clash
- Al Hilal presently lead Al Nassr by four points heading into Friday’s game
Cristiano Ronaldo wants the best officiating when Al Nassr travels to play against current Saudi Pro League leaders, Al Hilal on Friday, December 1 and has requested a foreign official for the game.
Al Nassr, who are currently second, are presently four points behind Al Hilal in the race for the league title this season, and the top-of-the-table clash could determine where the trophy heads at the end of the campaign.
According to Sportskeeda, Ronaldo has reportedly forwarded a request to the Saudi Pro League authorities for foreign referee, Colombia’s Wilmar Roldan, to officiate their upcoming match against Al-Hilal.
Roldan is an excellent referee who was ranked eighth in the world in 2015 and has officiated at the highest levels of competitions, including the FIFA World Cups in 2014 and 2018.
If the request by Ronaldo is successful, the Colombian official will join a list of high-profile referees, including Michael Oliver, Daniele Orsato and Mateu Lahoz, all of whom have officiated as guest referees in the Saudi Pro League this season.
