South African manager and former Chelsea player, Masilo Modubi is reportedly attracting interest from two European sides after a successful spell with Belgian club, KESK Leopoldsburg.

The former Bafana Bafana defensive midfielder recently left the Belgian side after tendering his resignation due to a reported disagreement with the club's management.

Modubi's decision to leave KESK Leopoldsburg for the first time in September led to the club's players going on strike before he agreed to return as manager.

Despite making a return, Modubi's relationship with Leopoldsburg's management seemed to have fractured and he has officially left the club.

The Westerlo legend, who is fondly referred to as Africa's 'Pep Guardiola', was due to return to South Africa due to the ill-health of his mother.

The former Chelsea midfielder has been reportedly linked with a move to two European sides in different countries, according to FARPost.

Modubi is reportedly in talks with a club in the Allsvenskan league in Sweden, as well with as an outfit in the Super League in Denmark.

The former South African midfielder joining any of these clubs will put an end to his stay in Belgium and would be the first time he is working outside the country in 20 years.

Modibo could reportedly seal a deal with any of the two clubs in December.
