The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who faced the humiliation of being showered with fake money in Paris Saint-Germain's loss to his former club AC Milan, found himself in the spotlight again during the Ligue 1 club's victory against Monaco.

As per ESPN reports, Donnaruma committed a significant error in the match, resulting in Japanese attacker, Takumi Minamino scoring the opening goal for Adolf Hutter's side.

Although PSG would eventually hit their opponent for five, Donnaruma's blunder stood out as a noteworthy moment. The official page of the French Ligue 1 took the opportunity to playfully mock the goalkeeper for his mistake.

The French league shared a video of Donnaruma's mistake on its TikTok account. While the video amused fans, it was the caption that added an extra layer of humour, leaving many supporters reacting with amusement.

The caption read: "Is Christmas here already?" with the witty remark triggering a flurry of humorous responses from fans.
