Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly facing players' mutiny after falling out with a number of his players since taking over the managerial role at Old Trafford last year.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho were the two high-profile fallouts, forcing the five-time Ballon d'Or winner out of the club last year, and the England international could be out in January.
Sports Brief looks at five players the Dutch tactician has had or is having issues with at the club amidst rumours of a bust-up with Raphael Varane, as first analysed by Daily Star.
Players ten Hag fell out with
1. Cristiano Ronaldo
The issue between Ronaldo and ten Hag began when the player turned up late for pre-season training after the death of his infant son. He was repeatedly left on the bench and was eventually released by the club following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan. He joined Al-Nassr, where he rediscovered his form.
2. Jadon Sancho
The England international was dropped for the 3-1 loss to Arsenal, and the boss claimed it was for poor training ethics. The player released a statement disagreeing with his manager and refused to apologise, which led to him being frozen out of the team and will leave the club in January.
3. Dean Henderson
Per Daily Express, ten Hag was pissed with Henderson after the goalkeeper claimed he left as he didn't want to remain and be left as second choice. He refused to cut short his loan in January and pushed for a permanent exit to Crystal Palace.
