The solitary strike secured a crucial win for Thomas Tuchel's squad, pushing Bayern ahead by one point over Bayer Leverkusen, who were set to play against Werder Bremen on Saturday.

As reported by Sky Sports, Kane etched his name in Bundesliga history as the top-scoring Englishman in a single season, surpassing Jadon Sancho's feat in the 2019/20 season with Borussia Dortmund.

Additionally, the former Tottenham Hotspur star solidified his place in the record books by becoming the first player in Bundesliga history to reach 18 goals within the initial 12 matchdays of a season, as per Opta Statistics.

"I'm feeling good. I feel at home here," he told reporters after the game as quoted by Livescore.
"Everyone's welcomed me really well from the players, the staff, the club, the fans and I just want to repay them every time I step out on to the pitch.
"We've got fantastic players around me who are creating chances for me, so I've just got to make sure I'm in the right place at the right time.

What's next for Harry Kane and Bayern?

Already securing their spot at the top of Group A in the Champions League with four consecutive victories, Bayern Munich will host second-placed Copenhagen on Wednesday, November 29.

Their return to league action is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, with a home fixture against FC Union Berlin.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that England striker Harry Kane continued his brilliant Bundesliga form on Friday, scoring the winner in Bayern Munich's 1-0 win over Cologne.

Kane scored a first-half tap-in to sink struggling Cologne and send Bayern top of the table overnight.
