The CAF Women's Champions League competition is done and dusted, with Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies winning the title at the expense of Morocco's SC Casablanca.

Tholakele Refilwe was the heroine for Masandwana's ladies in the final, as her brace gave them the deserved win.

Boitumelo Rabale added the third goal to earn the South Africans victory in Cote d'Ivoire as they reclaimed the CAFWCL title once again.

Sundowns Ladies scooped all the individual awards after the conclusion of the tournament, with Andile Dlamini being named the best goalkeeper while Tholakele Refilwe and Boitumelo Rabale won the Golden Boot and Player of the Tournament, respectively.

The Brazilians also dominated the CAF Women's Champions League team of the tournament XI with six players making the list, while AS Far and Ampem Darkoa had two players each.

SC Casablanca have only one representative on the list despite making it to the final, according to a report by iDiskiTimes.

Dlamini was chosen in goal after her heroic performance in the competition, while her teammates, Zanele Nhlapho and Lebohang Ramalepe featured in the defence line.

SC Casablanca's Meryhem Hajri and Ampem Darkoa's Yeboah Comfort completed the four-person defence.

Rabale, who was named the player of the tournament, was partnered with teammate, Chuene Morifi and AS Far's Ghizlane Chebbak in midfield.

The competition's highest goalscorer, Refilwe led the attack alongside Fatima Tagnaout and Jennifer Owusuaa.

Mamelodi Sundowns win inaugural AFL Cup

Sports Brief has also reported on South African giants, Sundowns defeating Wydad AC to win the African Football League for the first time.

The hosts of last year's CAF Champions League semi-final have been exorcised for the Brazilians, who continue to dominate club football.

Masandawana beat Wydad Casablanca 2-0 in the second leg of their AFL final to lift the first iteration of the Continental Super Cup.
