- Victor Osimhen is back in training for Napoli ahead of their Atalanta clash
- The Super Eagles star could feature against Real Madrid in UCL next week
- The Nigerian striker has missed Napoli's last six games in all competitions
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has returned to full training ahead of Napoli's crucial ties against Atalanta in Serie A and Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
The striker has been missing in action for over a month after sustaining a hamstring injury in Nigeria's international friendly game against Saudi Arabia last month.
The former Lille striker's absence has been felt badly by the Parthenopeans and is said to have led to the sacking of coach, Rudi Garcia.
The former Al-Nassr manager was replaced by Walter Mazzari a few days ago.
Osimhen is back in contention for a place in the squad for their upcoming games, as he was spotted working with his Napoli teammates during their training session on Wednesday, according to a report by Complete Sports.
The 24-year-old later completed the session with a workout in the gym and he could be part of the squad for their Italian league game against Atalanta this weekend.
The Super Eagles star has missed six games across all competitions for Napoli but could return fully to the team for their crucial Champions League game against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next week.
Osimhen has continued his solid run of form for the Italian champions this season, with six goals and one assist from 10 matches so far, per Transfermarkt.
