Fresh faces are in to breathe new life into the task ahead. With much wrangling behind the scenes, Sekhukhune United's managerial conundrum looks settled and the team is looking forward to fruitful months ahead.

Babina Noko will close out the year by bouncing between continental and domestic commitments, with four Confederations Cup ties and four league matches.

Lehlohonolo Seema is at the helm after resigning from Polokwane City, a team he had helped guide to sixth on the DSTV Premiership log after 12 games.

Lured by the chance to take on a continental challenge, he must meet the ambitions of his new bosses and pull Sekhukhune out of the bottom half.

As reported by SoccerLaduma, Seema said:

"There is obviously a lot ahead of us and therefore I have to hit the ground running. I don't wish to make any promises except to offer my work ethic and dedication to the club and its supporters."

Seema's predecessor held on until the very end, ensuring his sacking was handled correctly. In departing, Brandon Truter signed off with a somewhat cryptic message.

Noting how he took over the first team when they were in the same position as they are now, the former AmaZulu coach listed his success in finishing in the top half, making it to the Nedbank Cup final, and qualifying for the Confederations Cup - something he will now not take part in.

As quoted by SoccerLaduma, Truter said:

"Bonds were formed and lessons were learned... We met as men, we leave as men. Happy end of the season."
