Arsenal legend and former England international, Sol Campbell has urged the Gunners manager, Mikel Arteta to sign Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen next summer.
The Nigerian international has been linked with a move away from Napoli since last summer, with top clubs in Europe and even the Middle East showing interest in him.
Saudi Pro League side, Al-Hilal were reportedly interested in signing the Super Eagles striker, but he turned down a big-money move to the country's top flight.
Osimhen's performance for Napoli last season in the Serie A earned him the top scorer award as he led his club to their first Serie A title in 33 years.
Campbell believes his former club are lacking a top striker in their attacking line, even with the presence of Brazilian international, Gabriel Jesus in the team.
The former Manchester City star has been joined by English forward, Eddie Nketiah on the list of strikers in Arteta's squad, but they are both inconsistent.
Jesus has often been faced with injuries since joining the Gunners, while Nketiah is not consistent in front of the goal.
Campbell, during an interview with The Mirror - as per Soccernet - has named the two strikers he feels Arsenal should sign to bolster the squad next season.
"Victor Osimhen, but is he going to cost too much money? There is Ivan [Toney]. I think they are good [in other areas of the pitch]," he said.
"Centre-forward is one thing they might need to look at and see the possibilities, see what is out there, or wait until next season."

FootballThe former Arsenal defender also explained why he had suggested the Gunners add a new striker to their squad next summer.
"But if the right person comes along, an out-and-out striker, that can unlock those tight matches, knows what to do in those positions, and also keeps defence occupied to then free up other players," Campbell concluded.
