Real Madrid continues to grapple with an unrelenting wave of injuries this season, disrupting Carlo Ancelotti's team's promising start to the 2023-24 campaign.

Since the season commenced, nine players have succumbed to various injuries, casting a shadow over the team's performance.

The latest casualties include French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who sustained a knee injury during training with the French national team, and Brazil's Vinicius Jr, facing a recurrence of early-season fatigue. These setbacks contribute to an expanding list of injured players for Los Blancos.

In response to the injury crisis, Real Madrid recently parted ways with its head of medical staff, Dr Niko Mihic, according to reports from Spanish outlet Marca. Despite this decision, the club's injury predicament shows no signs of improvement.

Goal reveals a lengthy injury list, featuring Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao with season-ending Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries, Kepa Arrizabalaga sidelined for at least three weeks due to a muscle injury, Aurelien Tchouameni out for an estimated two months with metatarsal fatigue, Arda Guler experiencing a muscle relapse without a return date, Dani Ceballos with another muscle injury, Jude Bellingham nursing a shoulder injury, and Vinicius Junior sustaining a thigh muscle relapse during Brazil's FIFA World Cup qualification fixture against Colombia.

The barrage of injuries has evoked mixed emotions among Real Madrid fans, prompting them to express their concerns on social media.
